It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jerry Chiorello on October 25, 2024.
Born in Trenton, NJ, Jerry Chiorello was a devoted husband, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend. After graduating from Trenton High, he enlisted and proudly served in the United States Air Force before building a 38-year career with Pathmark as a Department Manager, where he was known for his hard work and dedication. An entrepreneur at heart, Jerry owned and operated Movie Mania, a successful video store in Hamilton Township. After that, he opened a gourmet coffee shop, Brewed Attitude with his daughter.
His family and friends will remember him as a man who devoted his life to those he loved.
Jerry was a loyal Philadelphia Eagles fan, a proud supporter of President Trump, and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting in his earlier years. Known for his quick wit and quirky sense of humor, Jerry brought laughter and joy to those around him, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him. He had a passion for travel from numerous Caribbean cruises, a memorable cruise to the Greek Islands and an unforgettable cross-country road trip.
In 2014, Jerry and his wife, Liz, retired and moved from New Jersey to North Port, Florida. Settling near the Gulf Coast, they embraced the warm weather, sunshine and palm trees, creating new memories together in their Florida home. Given his generous spirit, Jerry spent his free time volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul food pantry with Liz.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Liz Chiorello; his daughter Carrie Renzi and her husband Daniel, his son Brian Chiorello and his wife Keren and their daughter Kinsley, & his son Michael Chiorello and his son Mikey, Jerry’s sister Alberta Krulikowski, her 3 children and their families as well as a large extended family and friends both in New Jersey and Florida.
In keeping with his wishes, Jerry will be cremated. While there will be no formal viewing, an intimate service with family and close friends will be held to honor his memory where his spirit and love will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
